Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
In case you missed last week's message, the Swarm chose Pathfinder Roleplaying Game from Paizo to use as the system for building the Dark Golden Age. Pathfinder is the latest evolution of the Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition, published under the Open Gaming License. You can read, browse, print and reuse the rules in the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game Reference document for free.

Content of Note
Satyr has written a significant amount of setting material to add to the setting concept that won the original competition. These pieces are great for giving some ideas on things to write for the setting. I latched onto one of the terms mentioned in the entry on Sascria to create the Witch Hunters.
The fall of magic and its impact on the Dark Golden Age setting plays a central role. While story and theme can do a big part of that, it is also helpful to have some mechanics to go with it. Some ideas have started flowing, and we'd love to get some more input in the discussion of the heightened cost of magic.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you on the site!
