RPG design and gaming tools at Gen Con
I submitted two sets of two seminars for Friday and Sunday at Gen Con. This is my first time submitting non-game events to Gen Con, so we shall see how this goes. If anyone has submitted seminars to Gen Con previously, I would be interested in hearing your thoughts.
Writing and getting published at bySwarm.com
bySwarm.com offers aspiring game writers, designers and artists an opportunity to get their work seen and even use it as a chance to break into the industry. In this session, we'll be talking about how you can contribute to bySwarm.com and how we value your work. We will also demonstrate the various features of the site and how anyone from a player with some interesting plot ideas to a writer with years of setting history ideas can get involved.
E-tools: What do you want?
We are working on a next generation set of tools for GMs and players to manage and play their games. While we have many of our own ideas, we would also like to hear what you have to say.
I am also debating how best to submit some gaming events related to bySwarm. We will have a setting concept and rules system selected by the end of March, and the event registration starts in April. I will be able to submit events in time for people to be able to register, but I want to get stuff in there as soon as possible to get as many people as possible. Any thoughts?
